Dear Member
As we predicted in a previous newsletter, matters are now progressing very quickly. Our solicitors, Michelmores LLP, have begun the process of detailed individual case evaluation and analysis. We expect to engage in pre-action correspondence with the defendants by Christmas.
This raises some extremely important points:
If you haven’t yet completed your questionnaire, it is essential that you do so as soon as possible. Without this, your case cannot be progressed.
It is vital that you retain any and all information that could be used as evidence. This includes: paper and email correspondence and text messages (both to and from you); contracts; agreements; terms and conditions; your own handwritten notes of meetings and phone calls. Please follow this link to read your obligations with regard to disclosure, as advised by Michelmores: Disclosure Advice.
We will soon be sending you our Claims Management Agreement (CMA). This will set out the agreement between you and RGL, and once signed, it will enable us to advance your case on your behalf.
There are just four weeks until our presentation and Q&A near Birmingham on 7 December. This meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for you to hear about the case and its progress, and for you to ask any questions directly. It’s essential to reserve your place in advance. More details and booking form.
The greater the number of claimants and the greater the amount claimed, the more threatening we will be to the defendant(s). So, if you know anyone who may have a claim against Yorkshire or Clydesdale Bank, and is not yet registered, please direct them to the Register page at sueClydesdale.com while there is still time.
We look forward to seeing you in Birmingham on Thursday 7th December.
The RGL Management team.
